HERBED CARROTS

This is a quick, simple, & easy method to make a delicious carrot option when you’re looking for a different vegetable dish.

  • Slice the carrots lengthways, adjusting the quantity to the numbers sharing the dish
  • Heat olive oil or butter in a frying pan over medium heat

  • Add the sliced carrots & saute for about 5 minutes until they start to soften

  • Add minced garlic (a couple of cloves) & continue to saute for another 2-3 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant.  Stir to prevent burning

  • Add fresh chopped herbs (such as parsley, coriander thyme, or rosemary) to the pan. Stir to combine & let the flavours infuse into the carrots

  • Season with salt & pepper. Continue to cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until cooked but still have a slight crunch
